I bought both models and love them. The quick release ones are my favorite and awesome on my truck. One note on the quick release is that jumper cables can’t be connected when closed but the reason I wanted them.

I bought a set of these terminals to insulate unused top-posts on a dual connection battery. Well made, great design, snug fit.

I was a little sceptical but there were several positive review and they looked good so I bought them. These are an amazing replacement for standard battery terminals they clamp on very tight and they look great

I only needed one per car, so my 2 pack was enough for both garage cars. I have a couple older garage queens that don’t get out often, and like 30+ year old cars, they have a short here or there that drains the battery, so it dies after a week. But if I disconnect, it’s fine. The OEM connects on most cars are TERRIBLE. Bent out of shape after years and years of changing batteries, small sized nuts and bolts that you can’t even get a socket on. Step up to the AMPPER. I’m an idiot, and it took me 15 minutes to figure out that you clamp the insulated part of the wire and not just bare wire. I was flipping the bracket backwards, I tried stripping more wire, etc. Once I figured out that you clamp onto the insulated portion of wire, everything went in perfectly. I took a 15 second clip on my IG stories, and dozens of people hit me up to ask where I bought it, because this is just something everyone needs, but nobody knows it.

I saw these and thought they would be perfect for my purposes. And I saw the reviews where folks said that they didn’t fit, which I thought was puzzling. But since they came with a no-questions-asked money-back guarantee, I thought that I had nothing to lose, so I ordered some.
When I went to try them, they wouldn’t fit. They were way too small, and no matter what, I couldn’t get them on the posts. So I looked at them more carefully and discovered what was going on. When you first open them up, the clamp will be at an angle to the rest of the assembly. This is why they appear to be too small. You need to flatten it relative to the rest of the brass body, and then the strap opens up to the correct size. Voila!
See the photos to see what I am talking about Squirt some of your favorite spray lubricant at the joint and sliding surfaces, open the clamp up, flatten the assembly and you are good to go. The negative terminal will push right on. The positive one will be tight. On one exceptionally tight fit, I put the clamp on part way, pushed the cover down (this is HARD!), and then opened the clamp back up. The second time, it went right down on the post.
These are terrific, and I will be ordering more. And now YOU know the trick!

Difficult to install if you do not have any extra length. Still working on them.
